It's about going back to what needs to happen before you can extend unconditional love to another human being (through choice rather than biology). In world where it is so easy to constantly compare yourself to others and the ‘ideal’ portrayed online, it is pretty common to spend a lot of time feeling like you are coming up short. Unfortunately the human brain is designed to focus on the negative 2.5 times more than it focuses on the positive. This is a protective mechanism. The brains of our ancestors were designed around their need to be constantly aware of potential physical dangers and react accordingly to enable the survival of the species. The Jewel in the Crown of your Wellbeing

For many people in the modern Western world there is a great big disconnect in their ability to see themselves as spiritual beings as well as physical bodies.  This really means that most of us are walking around with imbalance in the energy centre that is associated with soulfulness and connection - the 7th Chakra, or Crown Chakra. Insights into your Wellbeing

We are so distracted these days that it can be extremely difficult to tap into what is often our greatest source of information and guidance - ourselves! Using our insight, intuition and intellect all fall under the energy centre of the 6th Chakra, otherwise known as the 3rd eye. Tell the Truth for the sake of your Wellbeing

How often do you show and tell your authentic self to the world? So often in this modern world of social media we only share the good stuff, which is really not a true depiction of our whole selves and what we think and feel and have to say. My prediction is that there will be ever-increasing numbers of people with emotional, mental and physical issues that stem from imbalance in the Throat chakra, which is the energy centre associated with Truth - being authentic, being open and making decisions. The Throat is the 5th Chakra out of 7 – the 7 main energy centres that we all have, and where our bodies (on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) are especially open to receiving energy. We're up to the Heart in my series of Blogs about balancing your Chakras - the 7 main energy centres that we all have, and where our bodies (on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) are especially open to receiving energy. We must first love ourselves before we can love others in any sustainable way but if we are constantly giving our love away to others we often don’t have enough left for ourselves.  This is why balance in the heart chakra is essential.  The heart chakra is the air element energy centre and develops during the fourth decade of life, the 30s – when it is common for people to partner up, settle down and start their own families. Fire Up your Wellbeing

This is the third of my Blogs focusing on the holistic health view Chakras and this one is all about the 3rd Chakra - the solar plexus energy centre - which governs our overall sense of Power, Energy and Balance.???? We have 7 main energy centres in the body.  These energy centres operate on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Different systems call the energy centres different names, but almost all traditional systems of medicine recognise these energy centres as well as other minor energy centres, and energy pathways. In my practice I refer to the energy centres as the Chakras – which comes from the Indian tradition.  Many energy healers work with the Chakras.
