Pisces Season

Well I don’t know about you but I’ve found Aquarius Season 2022 pretty full on! There have been a lot of happenings and conversations between the planets so it’s certainly not just because the Sun is sitting in the constellation of unusual, out there Aquarius! Any hoo, I’m about ready to escape into Pisces season! Escapism, mysticism, intuition and inspiration are all flavours of this final season of the zodiac. Please do be aware that I work with the true sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Pisces - March 10th to April 22nd The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Pisces from 10th March through to 22nd April 2022. I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia so depending on where you are in the world the change of sign may occur across the dateline and be a day ‘earlier’ for you, than it is for me. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. As we have seen for the last few signs Sidereal Pisces dates are a big change from Tropical Western astrology dates for Pisces (19th February –

Aquarius Season

Did things get a bit heavy and serious over Capricorn season? Well, it’s time to lighten up a little as we head into airy, quirky Aquarius season. Please do be aware that I work with the true sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Aquarius - February 15th to March 10th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Aquarius from 16th February through to 9th March 2022.  I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia so depending on where you are in the world the change of sign may occur across the dateline and be a day ‘earlier’ for you, than it is for me. Here in eastern Australia the Sun moves into Aquarius late afternoon on 15th February. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. As we have seen for the last few signs Sidereal Aquarius dates are a big change from Tropical Western astrology dates for Aquarius (20th January – 18th February).  We’ve only got a few days of overlap and you may feel an identity crisis coming on!  If you feel strongly attached to your Aquarius personality it

Capricorn Season

So Sagittarius has shot his arrow up and out and eventually it is going to land right here, in Capricorn Season! Capricorn energy really does bring us back to earth after all the adventures of Sagittarius season.  Capricorn season supports us to find and put in place the structures that will support us to work towards our goals tirelessly, eventually enabling us to create our legacy (ie what we will be remembered for). Please do be aware that I work with the true sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Capricorn - January 21st to February 15th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Capricorn from 22nd January through to 15th February 2022.  It moves into Capricorn during the day on 21st. NB - I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia so depending on where you are in the world the change of sign may occur across the dateline and be a day ‘earlier’ for you than it is for me. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. As we have seen for the last few signs Sidereal Capricorn dates

Sagittarius Season

Here we are in adventurous, expansive Sagittarius season – the perfect energy with which to welcome a new year. Please do be aware that I work with the true sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Sagittarius - December 20th to January 21st The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Sagittarius from 20th December 2021 through to 21st January 2022.  I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia so depending on where you are in the world the change of sign may occur across the dateline and be a day ‘earlier’ than it is for me. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. As we have seen for the last few signs, Sidereal Sagittarius dates are a big change from Tropical Western astrology dates for Sagittarius (22nd November - 21st December).  The difference is almost a month with only a couple of days of overlap and this can result in a bit of an identity crisis!  If you feel strongly attached to your Sagittarius personality it is probably because it is still a strong energy in your astrological chart, even if

Ophiuchus Season

Many of you are probably wondering what on earth Ophiuchus is, when it's at home?!! Well (drumroll!) Ophiuchus is the 13th sign of the zodiac! The constellation of Ophiuchus sits in the zodiac belt, and so, in the system of True Sidereal Astrology it is included, as it was by the ancients. For a bit more of an introduction into sidereal astrology head over here. Sidereal Ophiuchus - December 7th to December 19th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Ophiuchus from 7th December through to 19th December this year. Only a small part of the constellation of Ophiuchus sits in the zodiac belt, so therefore its 'season' is very short – just under 2 weeks - and lands between Scorpio and Sagittarius Seasons. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. As mentioned above, the reason that we include Ophiuchus in True Sidereal Astrology is because it appears in the zodiac belt, just as the other 12 signs do.  However, if you’ve come this far with me in exploration of Sidereal Astrology and including a 13th sign is really going to push you over the edge, don’t worry!  If you were to ignore the constellation of Ophiuchus you would say that Scorpio

Scorpio Season

Yes, it’s Scorpio season!  But don’t be afraid! Scorpio gets a really bad rap, probably mostly because its deep, intuitive intensity is not valued in modern life.  We all just want to keep taking action like Aries and keep moving onto the next thing like Gemini and keep perfecting like Virgo, without taking the time to dive inwards and find out who we really are and what we are truly here to do. Please do be aware that I work with the sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Scorpio - November 25th to December 7th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Scorpio from 25th November through to 7th December this year – hold your breath for this short but deep dive! And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. Something else I need to say here is that I practice 13 sign astrology, which brings in an additional (13th) sign, Ophiuchus, between Scorpio and Sagittarius.  The reason that we include Ophiuchus is because it appears in the zodiac belt, just as the other 12 signs do.  However, if you’ve

Libra Season

We are now halfway through the astrological year (which began back in April with Aries Season).  We have done all the hard work of perfecting things during Virgo Season and now we’re ready for the peace, harmony and romance of Libra Season. Sounds lovely doesn’t it! Please do be aware that I work with the sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Libra - November 5th to November 24th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Libra from 5th November through to 24th November – so we don’t get much time in this balanced season! Libra is a small constellation and so its season runs for less than 3 weeks. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. This is a big change from Tropical Western astrology dates for Libra (23rd September – 23rd October), there is no overlap at all, and this can result in a bit of an identity crisis!  If you feel strongly attached to your Libra personality it is probably because it is still a strong energy in your astrological chart, even if your sun does not

Virgo Season

With Virgo season upon us we’re almost halfway through the zodiac Wheel of the Year! Once you get 50% through something you’ve learnt a lot and you really want to start perfecting it. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Virgo - September 16th to November 4th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Virgo from 16th September through to 4th November.  Virgo is a massive constellation and so its season runs for more than a month and a half. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. So Who Needs to Really Read this? People who are born between September 15th (NB see above comment about the dates changing; what this means is depending on how old the person is they may have been born into Leo season even if they were born on the 15th September) and November 4th.  Being born between these dates means that your ‘Sun’ sign is in Virgo and

Leo Season

We’ve been nurtured and restored during Cancer season, helping us to recover from the physical and mental activity of the first quarter of the astrological year. We are ready now then to take ourselves out into the world, to create and to express who we are, to get our Leo on! Please do be aware that I work with the sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Leo - August 9th to September 15th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Leo from 9th August through to 15th September.  Leo is a fairly large constellation so its season runs for a bit more than 5 weeks. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. So Who Needs to Really Read this? People who are born between August 8th (NB see above comment about the dates changing; what this means is depending on how old the person is they may have been born into Leo season even if they were born on the 8th August) and September 15th. Being born between these dates means that your ‘Sun’ sign is in Cancer and

Cancer Season

Now that we’ve exhausted ourselves with all the buzzing around (mentally if not physically) of the Gemini Season, it’s time to come back home for some nourishing, protective nurturance during Cancer Season. Please do be aware that I work with the sidereal zodiac, which considers astrology from the actual placement of the stars in the current time. You can check this out for a quick 101 on Sidereal Astrology. Sidereal Cancer - July 18th to August 8th The Sun actually rises in the constellation of Cancer from 18th July through to 8th August.  Cancer is a small constellation so its season runs for only 3 weeks. And, yes if you read up about sidereal astrology, these dates are not set in stone, over almost three quarters of a century the dates will change by one day, in accordance with precession. So Who Needs to Really Read this? People who are born between July 17th (NB see above comment about the dates changing; what this means is depending on how old the person is they may have been born into Cancer season even if they were born on the 17th July) and August 8th. Being born between these dates means that your ‘Sun’ sign is in Cancer and you identify as a Cancer. You most likely see yourself as gentle, caring, sensitive and brimming with empathy!
