This time of year, especially in Australia where we tend to run things on the calendar year, we really feel like everything is coming to an end and hopefully most of us also feel like we have the chance of fresh new beginnings with the upcoming new year. Summer feels like it starts in January and any hot weather at the end of the previous year is just warming us up! Many people go like crazy to get everything done ‘before Christmas’ because we really have this sense of an ending. Summer Solstice This weekend we have the Summer Solstice on Saturday and the Full Moon on Sunday (its exact time of fullness is early in the morning on Sunday so you could think of it as Saturday night). And then it’s Christmas Day on Tuesday. So, we are really being supported by the universe in this sense of things coming to a close over the next week. This gives you a great opportunity to work out exactly what it is that you want to let go of from 2018 and plan what exactly it is that you want to bring into your life in 2019. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year – the day that we have the most hours of daylight – and spiritually is a day to really step outside of yourself. Express yourself in the external world, even

This is the third of my Blogs focusing on the holistic health view Chakras and this one is all about the 3rd Chakra - the solar plexus energy centre - which governs our overall sense of Power, Energy and Balance.💥💛🍋🌞 If you would prefer to read the full piece instead of, or as well as, watching the video, it was published by Sivana East. We have 7 main energy centres in the body. These energy centres operate on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Different systems call the energy centres different names, but almost all traditional systems of medicine recognise these energy centres as well as other minor energy centres, and energy pathways. In my practice I refer to the energy centres as the Chakras – which comes from the Indian tradition. Many energy healers work with the Chakras. Chakras are areas where the body is very open to receiving energy, from all sources. When it becomes imbalanced the flow of energy into the chakra is depleted or even prevented. Each chakra governs and works with specific areas of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. To get your FREE copy of my Chakra Balancing Ebook click here. Balance in any of the Chakras works on a spectrum, so if you can relate to extremes in any of these areas you may have an imbalanced 3rd Chakra: how energetic you feel in

Here at Evenstar my work is focused on 5 Star Wellbeing, which is what I believe are the 5 key areas that we all need to get right if we want to live a life of real health and wellness. These areas are Food, Sleep, Movement, Surroundings and Being. I do often talk about Food because, well, food! But seriously, I truly believe that our diet and digestive system are the primary source of either good or poor health. Sometimes we forget that our mouth is actually the beginning of our digestive tract, with our teeth and saliva beginning the process of breaking down food. Good Food = Good Dental Health The best possible way to look after your dental health is to eat whole foods from the earth, and funnily enough this is one of the best ways to look after your overall wellbeing too! Let’s start off our celebration of Dental health week with the startling fact that 85% of people who have heart attacks, also have gum disease. Although the causative relationship behind this statistic has not yet been determined this is a clear indication that our dental health
